What We Do
We combine genetic, evolutionary algorithms with techniques of machine learning – solving high-dimensional, combinatorial problems that are key to future digitization process of our society and economy. This way we overcome limitations of procedural and classical algorithmic solutions. The combination of genetics and machine learning leads to solutions having for the first time concrete artificial intelligence. And it is no longer just a buzzword. It becomes IT reality.

Real Estate
Under the brand Quadfolium we invest in and develop real estate – as a way of reinvesting profits; giving us the freedom to develop research solutions both in the short and long term even over several years to make them market ready. We are involved in nearly all kind of different asset classes in the area of Berlin, Saxony and Brandenburg. Due to our analytics we can react quickly (within hours). This means we can make purchases even in complex situations. Some examples below.

Partners
The German Deep Tech Group cooperates closely in a number of research fields and study programs with HPI, the Hasso Plattner Institute (www.hpi.de), the university center of excellence for software engineering and IT systems engineering. The Hasso Plattner Institute holds an unique position in the landscape of German universities; it has no tuition fees and is financed through private funds donated by its founder, Professor Hasso Plattner, who co-founded the software giant SAP. In particular, German Deep Tech engages in long-term research programs in Advanced Analytics, Software Analytics, Spatial Analytics, Visual Computing and Information Cartography.

Art House
The Kunsthaus Tacheles (Art House Tacheles) was an art center in Berlin, Germany, a large building and sculpture park in the district Mitte. Huge, colorful graffiti-style murals were painted on the exterior walls, and modern art sculptures were featured inside. The house was finally closed on September 4, 2012.
German Deep Tech gave the Tacheles a new home. Hundreds of sculptures and paintings are now stored in Potsdam.
Farmhouse for Founders & Innovators
The Farmhouse for Founders & Innovators is located in Rheinsberg, 65km from Berlin. Surrounded by a unique natural setting Rheinsberg serves and has served as a source of inspiration. „Founders of Germany“ Friedrich II. or Heinrich of Prussia and world famous writers like Kurt Tucholsky and Theodore Fontane found stimuli for their artistic works in the perfection of untouched nature. And still today, Rheinsberg with its Farmhouse for founders & innovators is the ideal hub of inspiration for innovation.
